The Abraham Path Initiative (API) is a nonprofit organization established to develop walking trails for tourists to learn about and enjoy the peoples and cultures of Southwest Asia (the Middle East).
Since 2007, API has worked with local partners create over 2000 miles of scenic trails in Turkey, Jordan, Palestine, Sinai, and Iraq, providing economic benefits to local communities and opportunities for walkers to have positive intercultural encounters.
This learning platform is part of our overall online presence, the purpose of which is to engage and grow community; to bring people together to learn about and experience the beautiful cultures and peoples of the Middle East.

Dr. Josh Weiss
Dr. Josh Weiss is a negotiation expert and co-founded a negotiation program at Harvard University. He is a founding member of API and Board Chair
Jessica is a lecturer at the PATHWAYS Institute for Negotiation Education in Haifa, and has hiked hundreds of miles on the Abraham Path.
Max is a negotiation evangelist; he’s trained Fortune 100 Executives and Navy SEAL’s, and believes negotiation training is vital to be more effective.
